Re: Motion template title effect broken by 10.0.1 update
site_archiver@lists.apple.com Delivered-To: pro-apps-dev@lists.apple.com Hi Alex, You can report bugs here: http://bugreport.apple.com You will need a free ADC account. Please include as much information as you can about what used to work and no longer does. If you can attach the old and new versions of your templates, that would be ideal. Can you be more specific about how 10.1 "renders differently", and how your old title "doesn't work at all" in 10.1? (Black frame, error, something else?) FYI
10.0.1 renders at least a couple of my title effects differently. It seems to be related to applying an image mask to the Title Background.
Taking my Widescreen Matte title effect as an example...
I've produced an updated version, but I can't remove the older version yet. Why? While the 10.0 version of the template doesn't work at all in 10.0.1, the version that does work in 10.0.1 has a control (Matte Strength) that doesn't work in 10.0.
That means I need to have both versions of my Widescreen Matte title effect for now. As I'm in the middle of a project, I can't update my production machine to 10.0.1. Perhaps I'll get around to producing a single template that works the same way in both versions.

Is it worth reporting this officially? Can someone point me in the direction of the bug reporting instructions for this sort of problem?
