Pace produce a copy protection dongle scheme. Is it possible that a plug-in has a dongle to protect it? The software would not have been remotely installed by the developer. It is much more likely that an application or plug-in that you installed installed the Pace driver. You will likely have to co-operate with the developer if you want to resolve the issue. First thing is stop blaming them for something they almost certainly did not do. If someone develops a copy protection scheme (for Pro Tools plug-ins or whatever it is), and then displays an error message that doesn't tell you what the name of the offending plug-in is, they probably *do* deserve quite a bit of blame!
