I’ve been out of the office for a bit and am just catching up.

If you’re using the standard Apple installer, there’s nothing you should need to do to get it to work for users. Can you send the exact error that your users are seeing and any related console logs to me?

You most certainly can sell FxPlugs on the App Store. We spent some time working with the app store team to make this happen. See for example:
