While many users need to added levels of complexity offered by full-feature DAM / MAM solutions, we have a very large number of FCP-X only shops who are now very happy with the simpler mechanisms for clip / asset management that you guys provide natively within FCP X. If I had access to the clip info in a getter within the FxPlug SDK, we could readily provide full LTO archival and retrieval directly within FCP X.
