This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com I've developed a FxPlug generator. It has a custom parameter with custom UI that displays timecode. Now I want to create a Motion Template that has two instances of the generator. I want to link the timecode parameter of one instance to another. Motion lets to create a link, it displays correct source and target parameters, but the timecode value of the target object doesn't change. Does anybody know if this is the expected behavior or do I miss something in the plugin? I know that Motion documentation states that link works for numerical parameters only, but for drop-down menus or font menus Motion doesn't create the link at all. In my case Motion creates the link, but it doesn't work.
