We have a number of iMacs running the Qmaster 3.0 system running for distributed compression of quicktime videos. This is working fine from Compressor 3.x. But we also have a few Compressor 2.3 machines still (older versions of Final Cut Studio) and they are having trouble submitting jobs. Either the job fails to submit completely or it submits and then a few computers almost immediately give Quicktime errors, which cause the entire process to fail. I have seen KB articles about incompatibilities between 2.1 and 2.3, but nothing about 2.3 and 3.0. This email sent to site_archiver@lists.apple.com
