Be part of the team to analyze new security alerts and work with teams across Apple for timely resolution. Particular responsibilities include: * Work with engineering teams to analyze new security alerts * Track and manage to completion any known potential security issues * Prepare external communication on security topics * Conduct internal audit of Mac OS X software for security enhancements * Create training for development teams on security concepts and coding practices * Provide guidance to teams in enhancing the overall security functionality The candidate will need to have strong programming skills, a knowledge of Mac OS X or related operating system, and software security experience. Creative problem-solving, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills are critical for this position. Also critical are solid communication skills, with the ability to generate well-written documents as well as personal and team communication skills.
