I've noticed a couple of problems, namely:
1. In the Product Summary textbox, it says the limit is 20
words but the text box is limited to 20
characters. There's not much you can type with 20 characters.
2. It seems to have forgotten all screenshots and icons that I have previously uploaded. I'm having to upload everything again.
Thanks for all that you've done to help, Charles.
Regards,
Jon.

It seems that only PNG is accepted. Here some more fun with PNG
First look at the info on this upload page for screenshots
• When taking your screenshot (Use command + shift + 4 + spacebar), make sure yours is the only application running.
• Keep your screenshot clean and tidy. Make sure icons, files, unnecessary windows, etc., are not visible. Remember, you want to showcase your application - don|t let other items be a distraction.
• Your screenshot submissions should be full sized PNG, GIF, TIFF, or JPEG images (1MB limit).
Then look at the error on this same page (the feedback I got)
Application Screenshot:
File must be less than 320 x 356 pixels.
So what's the difference between "full sized" and "320 x 356" ?

Andreas

Not after logging in. I'm seeing the WWDC page too instead of downloads directory management page.

I can confirm that I just followed the link too and after asking to log in was redirected to the main WWDC page.
Darrin, FYI, this is the page where we should be able to submit content: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/finalcutstudio/
Pete
Sorry to bump an old thread, but it would appear that it's no longer possible to submit downloads. If you click on the submit link on the main Apple Downloads page, it forwards you to the main WWDC page, and after hunting around for ages, I have not been able to find the link to submit downloads.
Is this a mistake or has the long-rumored demise of Apple Downloads finally happened? Can anyone else confirm that they can't access it?

I've just noticed that the downloads section has been updated. Thanks Charles. I'm really glad it didn't die.
I like the fact that it has a specific Final Cut Studio section - on other sites my apps get put in "File Utilities" or "Utilities" which is a little too vague for my liking. I also think it's a great way to introduce newcomers to all that the Mac has to offer. No other site does this quite so well.

Hi Martin,
I have gotten other bits of download site feedback at NAB and I am in the process of following up.
So I can be accurate in my communications with the web team, could you please send me more details on the link used to post and the info contained in the postings you requested?
I welcome anyone else to send me /downloads related feedback off list.
Thanks
Charles
