Hi Guys,
I'm busy working on setting up instaDMG to use at our school. I'm
trying to use the only 10.5 DVD that I have access to, which is a 2-
disc install set that came with some Mac minis we purchased last
year. In the choices xml file that I can produce from the
OSInstall.mpkg on the first DVD, I've got a bunch of packages that
require swapping discs and putting in the second DVD. Here is a
sample line:
<string>Apple Intermediate Codec</string>
<key>pathsOfActivePackagesInChoice</key>
<array>
<string>x-disc://Mac OS X Install Disc 2/Packages/
AppleIntermediateCodec.pkg</string>
</array>
Any thoughts on how I might bypass that? My first thought is that I
might need to change all the strings with the x-disc line to point to
a different location ... (Or should I disable the packages with the
InstallerChoices.xml file and then put them in the BaseUpdates folder?)
Suggestions more than welcome,
David Baker
