I have used Deploy Studio Server on a G4 Xserve, G5 Xserve and intel Xserve plus any other sever box imaginable.
I build my NetBoot set on the newest Intel hardware I can find and running Snow Leopard 10.6.4
On my PPC G3 iMac running Tiger I build my PPC NetBoot set .
Making certain that each has a different id number .
I then copy the NetBoot set to the server and place in the proper location.
I make the Intel the intel boot and the PPC the PPC boot running both at once.
I name my NetBoot set as such
Deploy_intel_v20_10.6.4 id number 101
Deploy_PPC_v20_10.4.11 id number 111
This way I know what version of Deploy I am using and what OS I used.
Because I go to so many different schools I also have 2 small fire wire drives one Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and another Tiger 10.4.11 I boot up to my fire wire drives and configure these NetBoot sets for the building I am in.
That way I always have my Drives set the way I want and not having to mess with there computer OS or software issues.
I have had no major issue so far with the Apple hardware that I have currently.
