Clarifying again, here. You won't be creating a second full OS (XP in this case) container when utilizing your Boot Camp setup. Just pointing to it. You can only create a VM from a Boot Camp installation. No booting from a VM container. Corey ------------------ (303) 378-7193 This brief message sent from my iPhone. Great news! With that said, if we already have a VMWare Fusion XP instance up and running, can we then go ahead and configure Boot Camp to boot to this same instance or did we need to configure in the reverse order?

Hi Bob,
That is a supported feature in both Parallels Desktop and VMWare Fusion. Works great.

Hello all. Is it possible to have a Windows instance shared between Boot Camp and VMWare Fusion? So, in other words, I could have two options for running the same Windows XP instance ... I could use Boot Camp (running only the Windows instance) or I could go Mac/VMWare Fusion to access it. I thought at one point this was a possibility but I’m not sure this could be possible.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
