Just an FYI on this
subject: I actually had to stop my DHCP service recently because it was interfering
with our main DHCP server on Windows 7 clients. I thought this might
prevent netboot clients from connecting but they still boot (albeit slower) so,
apparently having DHCP running on your netboot server isn’t necessary in
all cases.
