Hi,
I heard from a not-necessarily-reliable source that mirroring would work as well with the iPhone4 and the latest iPod touch. Any word on that?

This, obviously, is a really big deal. There has been a lot of questions about this feature and these are the specifics.

It is only able to display out, what a given App was designed to show, not the entire user interface. For example, Keynote was able to show presentations via video out, but iCal could not. Nor could you see the entire home screen or interface navigation.

Again, neither of these cables will allow video mirroring on the original iPad. I hope this clarifies what's possible with mirroring, and please let me know if you have any questions.
