Hello Rockies list,
Mac OS X 10.6.7 and Mac OS X Server 10.6.7 are now available to the public as automatic software updates and manual downloads. The build number is 10J869 for both updates. Note that there is a separate Mac OS X 10.6.7 Update for MacBook Pro (Early 2011) which is build 10J3250. It applies only to the latest MBP models; it contains all of the fixes in the regular 10.6.7 update, plus some that are specific to that hardware.
Apple has also posted Security Update 2011-001 for 10.5 and 10.5 Server, and Server Admin Tools 10.6.7 (full manual download and auto update for 10.6.7 clients with 10.6.x Admin Tools installed.)
This update vastly improves Apple's system imaging story: if you build the image properly you can now use a single 10.6.7 NetBoot or NetRestore image on all Intel hardware except the new MacBook Pros . See the KBase article list below for details. (Note that NetInstall images still have to be based on the 10.6.3 DVD so they can only support machines that shipped before that DVD was released. And NetInstall images still require the workaround in TS3496. ) These KBase articles have general information about today's updates.
These new and updated articles have information about specific fixes in 10.6.7.
Enjoy, Corey
