Glen,
I can't assist your issue but thanks for the warning. We are running a 10.5 server for Open Directory and the 10.6 workstations seem to take longer to connect to the home folder. I have yet to bind a Lion workstation but will look out for issues.

Hi Everyone,
Quick question. Does anyone have a 10.6 snow leopard server running and also have new 10.7 Lion Macbook clients connecting to it via WGM with home folders? We are having issues with this (slow connection speeds, unbearable reaction time to typing).
10.6 clients to 10.6 server WGM connections are still working great.
10.7 clients to 10.6 server WGM connections are not working (have to use local accounts and then "Connect to Server" functionality).
Thanks for any help you can give on this. We have not bought the 10.7 server software yet and are wondering if we are forced to because of this problem.
