I have same issue. Lost my Login back ground image. I used a App (Loginox) from Apple App store that allowed you to easily configure your login screen image, but that doesn't work either after the update.

I knew 10.7.4 would break the background image from reading about the update, but I figured it would be easy to just copy the file back and have it work. I guess that isn't the case anymore with 10.7.4??

I used these steps on 10.7 to 10.7.3 and it worked great.
Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I did some searching and it sounds like other people are having the same problem with no resolution yet.
Thanks,
Eric
