Here's what I suggest we recommend to Apple as a way to handle this
problem going forward.
1. Disable Java (we all really know it should be done anyway, huh).
2. Create a user interaction modal dialogue box that tells the user there
is a risk. The user must check the box that says "I understand the risk"
before the Java app or Java Web Start will launch.
That way it is user beware. Kind of like they have done with the dialogue
box that alerts you when you want to install software that has been
downloaded.
