Hi
You have to remember Apple no longer supports that service on their Server
software any longer.
You no longer need Server software to have caching services as it is built in
on 10.13.6 and 10.14.2 standard operating system.
You just go to Sharing in System Preferences and activate Content Caching. They
have instructions and guidance with in that settings.
I have been using it here at my school district and it seems to work well.

Greetings long time apple server users
I am preparing to buy a class set of used iPads, and an older mac mini to act
as a app server / web caching server for a school in Kampala Uganda, where
there is seriously limited internet capacity.
Once upon a time, the apple server software had a web caching service included.
I am seeking wisdom on the best version of the server software to accommodate
both App serving on iPads, AND web Caching such that the first iPad in a school
to request a site has to download it thru the server, but then all the other
iPads can access that site from the local server.
Any advice welcome!
