Thanks for this Kyle, it was news for me to hear.
I’ve done some testing, and indeed results are a bit mixed on Windows 10. We
tested with Real VNC. The workaround we found was: with Mac at login window,
VNC control with a local admin’s credentials. Then, a standard user may log in
on the Mac and control will persist.
I wonder, what all settings do you have configured in System
Preferences>Sharing>Remote Management? Have you tried the “neon may request
permission to control screen” and “VNC viewers may control scree with this
password” check boxes?
