Hello Guido,
actually I'm not trying to overwrite anything in awake. At least
there's nothing in my code, but maybe a "sub-process" is doing it:(
I just don't know of another way to build my form, if I have to
create a WOComponent for each and every entity it would be time
consuming and the maintenance cost would be too high too:(

Just a strange idea: do you do something in awake() which changes
the values for the conditional? If you set a boolean to false, and
this effects a conditional wrapping a text field, the field
"disappears" from the scope of the form as far as I know. Chuck
described this with a hyperlink being clicked but the method is
never called in his book.
