Hi
i use X11 for 3-D data visualisation purpose. there are
bugs that i noticed in the Beta-3, something which DID NOT
exist in the Beta-1. i want to know if anyone else has noticed
this bug earlier before i report this bug to apple. here is
what happens:
[ i use an iBook, 10.2.6. my 3-D data visualisation software
reads the "cube" and displays one single "plane", which can
be viewed as a movie by changing the third axis]
1) colours are drawn incorrectly,
2) lines which are drawn shrunk horizontally by a factor of 4.
the above happens with an 8-bit pseudo-colour window and
the problem goes away when a 24-bit true colour window is used.
thanks for your comments in advance.
cheers,
ashish
