If you're one of those folks who likes to plant a clock in the corner of
the screen and have it there forever and always, there's a simple
xclock -geometry blahblah &
or maybe you're old-school and want to see your biffbox mail indicator
with
xbiff -geometry blahblah &

Really? The only negative I've seen re: Fink is that Virex debacle and
I place the blame squarely on that bunch of !Unix-programmers.
