If it matters that much to you, offer the developers your help.
I'll learn to keep my mouth shut the next time :-)
Because you'd have downloaded them from the Apple Developer Connection
web site. If you haven't done that, then your tools are those supplied
with the OS, and these are not the most up-to-date.
I should have the new version then because I did remember downloading
some stuff from their developer's site.
GOOD News, I cleared all other precedent installation of gnuplot, and
used the good old text mode fink to install the source. guess what, it
works like a charm this time :-) thanks.
