I wonder if you add X11 to FruitMenu's ignore list (available via the
FruitMenu prefPane) if that would solve your problem?
I have done this, the problem is that X11.app is not the window server.
It is the front end to the window server. Xquartz (in /usr/X11R6/bin)
is the window server and it is not recognised by unsanity's ignore
dialogue box, I've tried setting the type to APPL (to trick unsanity's
ignore box into recognising it as an application) but that did not
work. I'm not sure but the fact that X11.app runs 3 instances (two from
X11.app/Contents/MacOS/X11 and one as Xquartz) might have something to
do with it. Any tips anyone?
