Hmm... What do you have in the Security tab? (That's the Preferences in the
X11 application). I'm not sure, but if "allow connections from network
clients" is not checked, that may be the cause. Another check you can
perform is to run
netstat -a
on the mac in a terminal and see if there is anything listening on ports in
the neighborhood of 6000
