Good Point.
I've got a powerbook G4 running 10.3.3 running. X11 is XFree86 4.3.0, Apple Version 1.0.
I downloaded and installed Fink 0.7.0 (http://fink.sourceforge.net/download/index.php?phpLang=en). This version of Fink is only installable on OSX 10.3+.
Once I installed Fink, which required no major changes, I ran the FinkCommander which is a good way to download and install packages that run on top of Fink. I downloaded and installed from the x11-wm group icewm.
on the Mac, I executed xdm ( the X server was not running)
I then fired up humingbird's eXceed and created a Xstart client startup script that contained the following command to be executed via telnet on the mac:
/sw/bin/icewm --display=@d&@ -t=~rripley/Crux-Teal/default.theme;
