Just a small correction: With xfree86-4.4.0 you *can* use Apple's
quartz-wm.
xfree86-4.4.0 does provide XDarwin window manager.
However, does the
ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.4.0/binaries/Darwin-ppc-6.x
distribution support using the Apple quartz-wm beta version 3, I
believe the issues
was MacOS 10.2.x?
