X window managers doesn't support drag-and-drop as nicely as anything
Mac (or even Windoze). The next best thing I can recommend is to get
a tool called CopyPath that copies the path to the OS X clipboard where
it is available to the X clipboard.

CopyPath adds a Contextual Menu Item option to the Contextual
Menu in the Finder. Control-click a document, application,
folder, mounted volume, zip disk, anything, and easily copy
the full path to that item directly to your clipboard!
