Try searching the archives of this list: there should be
discussion somewhere about how to set up your .xinitrc to
cope with two different running X's, e.g. by testing which
display is set. I'm pretty sure that's how I learnt how to
set mine up to cope, e.g.
if [[ "$DISPLAY" = ":0" ]]; then
#Assume we are starting Apple's X11
exec quartz-wm
exit
else
#Do full screen XDarwin stuff
autocutsel &
#...and more stuff as you wish...
/sw/bin/fvwm2 2>.fvwm/.fvwm2-errors
exit
fi
(this is only part of my .xinitrc). Also, before anyone
wonders, I'm "cheating" and using the same X11R6 stuff for
both apple's beta3 and XDarwin -- it works if you do it
right. Of course this won't be a problem if you run two
instances of the same one on different displays, which
sounds like what you want to do.
