Both lesstif (http://www.lesstif.org, which does not resolve for me
just now, but is in Google's cache) and Motif itself (now released in
source form as OpenMotif -- see http://www.opengroup.org/openmotif) can
be obtained with fink (or FinkCommander) -- see recent list discussion
on how to use these tools. Fink's package descriptions say that lesstif
has the more relaxed licensing policy (although a corporate lawyer who
fears the GPL might disagree). Caveat: I have not used either package
on Mac OS X.

libXm is a Motif library. I've never looked for Motif for Panther, so

someone else can step in and help here. I've heard there is a
distribution
called Mootif that you can get. I don't know whether it is free or not.
There is also one called LessTif.
