Hi everybody,
I have a powerbook G4 with MacosX 10.2.8 running, using XDarwin zu run
gimp (latest versions for 10.2.8). I got a new wacom graphire3 tablet
(usb) recently, which works under Xdarwin just like a normal mouse. (No
pressure sensitivity etc..)
I figured out that I need the XInputExtension for the Xlib, but after some
surfing around I still have no idea how to get / install it and where the
X config file is hiding in my system.
At http://developer.apple.com/qa/qa2001/qa1232.html it says that
XInputExtension is not yet implemented in OpenGL, which makes me think it
does not come with Panther (os X 10.3) either, so I could not use gimp
with the wacom tablet either. Is that right?
Any idea for a workaround? -I would appreciate it so much....
XInput support is not available currently in
Apple's X11 or XFree86. There has been some
discussion on this list about providing this
support, but this won't till after XFree86 4.4.0
is finalized.
