I'm having the same problem....
Has anyone found any info on how to fix this?
I've noticed that if I log in as root (yes I know this not
good/suggested) via ssh -X I don't have any problems....
Any suggestions?

Hi,
I've been using previous betas of X11 under OS X successfully,
logging into my Linux box using ssh -X then doing "startkde". But
now if I do this, all the windows display fine but as soon as I click
on one to do something, it fades as if another window or dialog
has come to the front. It doesn't matter which one I try, all the KDE
windows cannot be given focus. This is with the X11.app which
comes with Panther, i.e. located in /Applications/Utilities.
Is there some defaults or preferences setting causing this? I have
tried deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.x11.plist and restarting
X11 but that didn't help. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Regards,
Tim.
