G'day Bob
I have not yet had the pleasure of a G5 but X should be already installed on
your system.
Open a terminal window, ( located in the utilities folder )
cd /usr/X11R6
Then do a ls to see what is there
If you have a directory named bin and lib and include and man then X is
there..
You are now 1/2 home..
In your utilites folder which is in applications you should see a file named
X11
Double click it..
Surprise .. You are now in an X window..
IF you have a three button mouse ( I have a Logitech ) you then have the
"full power" of any and all X features in the different applications..
There is also a README in the /usr/X11R6 directory..
And there are lots of O'Reilly books on X and the tools or toys :->
You may need to edit your .tcshrc file to include the path to the X stuff
Hope this helps..
