To use superuser, you must turn on the root account using the netinfo
utility. I normally use the sudo command rather then going to root.
Example:
sudo pico /etc/hosts
..lj

Hi all,
I have been trying for some time to access the superuser
mode in kde, but every time I type the password I get denied the
access. I would appreciate any help.
I am using a G 5 with Panther, X11 and kde-ssl.
