I don't know what open-x11 is, but I'm guessing maybe you want
open-x11 xterm -e
/Users/lcp/isabelle/Repos/Distribution/bin/isabelle-interface "$@"
?

Is there an easy way (using a small amount of bash script, perl,

I tried using Sanchez's DropScript with a bit of shell script:
open-x11 xterm
/Users/lcp/isabelle/Repos/Distribution/bin/isabelle-interface "$@"
However, only the xterm launches. If I replace the second line by
/usr/bin/aless "$@"
then AquaLess launches with the dropped arguments, so perhaps the
problem is caused by the way X11 handles command-line arguments. Any
ideas?
