Just as a point of reference, I do not have this problem. My powerbook shows uptime 49 days and I close the lid and
put it to sleep several times a day. All the while X11.app has been running since shortly after booting and I have
never restarted it. I use airport wireless connections from the local LAN daily. I connect to a linux system and a
solaris system using ssh and have no difficulty displaying X apps back onto the powerbook. Here are a few specifics, I
am sure there are lots more, I can report any additional info if it would be helpful.
OS X 10.3.4
1.5 GHz PowerPC G4
512 MB DDR SDRAM
Powerbook G4 15"
Builtin Airport Extreme
