That is rather disapppointing. It happens nearly every time for me.

I'm running a pretty plain OSX installation: all the funny stuff is on the
remote machine which actually runs the applications. In particular I
don't even have a .xinitrc file set at the moment.
What can we do to investigate further? This problem is pretty repeatable
for me.

This one is also reproducible for me. Again, I'm very happy to help you
reproduce or invesigate it: what do we do to proceed?
