I am looking for a web browser that supports https and can run as an X
application. I installed Mozilla 1.6 via DarwinPorts and after changeing
the target system from 10.1 to 10.3 it compiled fine (about three hours on
my Ti800). But it will not load or give any errors (either stdout, stderr,
syslog, or crashreport). Has anyone gotten mozilla or better firefox to run
under Apple's X11.app? I have the aqua version but am looking for an app
that will stay on the screen when I switch to the root window. Dillo does,
but it will not read https sites.
I also compiled firefox from the mozilla site, but it exits with an error
GDK: cannot destroy root window.
