Ok - disaster
I tried the suggestion below and I now have nothing working:
If I use apple's X11 I get kde but the mouse doesn't work - I can't select any
windows or use anything except the bar at the bottom of the screen - I can
run matlab (click on a shell, this gets focus, run matlab from the command
line- knackered as soon as it loses focus though).
I can no longer run xfree86 - this hangs if I run it rootless and crashes if I
run it fullscreen.
Bar scrapping everything and starting again (incidently how do I do this?) any
suggestions anyone?
Thanks,
SA
