Ok maybe I made a mistake here - I moved the xdarwin directory back
to /usr/X11R6 and /etc/X11 rather than copying the basic files...
nothing works now and I am stuck, how do I delete both Xs and wha tis the best
sequence for putting them back? should I use fink to do this? I originally
got rid of apple's X11 because fink failed to install kde etc on it due to a
missing dependancy.
Ideally I would like one version of X which kde and fink was happy with
running in full screen mode which would also run matlab. Could you tell me
what the easiest route to this is? I have spent days trying to get this to
work.
Thanks,
SA
