One possibility might be that the location of the photo library may have
changed.
I looked at the plist file for iPhoto on my system, and the photo
library
has the path /Users/my_user_name/Pictures/iPhoto Library
I checked the Pictures folder in my home folder, and the iPhoto Library
is indeed there.
You might look at the plist file for iPhoto on your system (it has the
path
/Users/my_user_name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist)
and look for key word "RootDirectory" to make sure it points to the same
as above. You can look at it with a text editor or just double click
on it
to bring it up in the plist editor.
If it points to something different from the above, or if you have put
your
iPhoto Library in some other location, then either move it to the
standard
location, or change the path in the plist file to match where it really
is.
If the location in the plist matches your actual location, then the
problem
will have to be something else. If this is not the problem, then you
might
check the file protections on the photo library to make sure you have to
proper privileges to read and write to them. Hopefully you can find
your
actual photo library, and hopefully it has not gotten trashed somehow.

Hi there!
I have updated my iPhoto version but, after that, I cannot display
the pictures
in my library folder and all the other folders anymore!
Do you know how can I solve this and get my pictures back?
I have a PowerBook G4.
Thanks,
Silvia
