My #1 bug that I really wish they would fix is the "freeze when scrolling" problem. I have only seen this on intel-based Macs (and I believe it has been covered on this list before).
Until yesterday, I hadn't seen a decent workaround to unfreeze X11 short of killing X11 and restarting it (which is not a reasonable solution).
For those who haven't seen the solution and have this problem, you can sample the X11 process in Activity Monitor and X11 will unfreeze.
I'm VERY curious to see how X11 apps/windows interact with Spaces in
10.5.

Is there some way that after all of this prolonged discussion we can come up with a copy/paste proposal for Apple - either a bug report or an enhancement request? I realize that the Apple X11 team are likely following everything on this list, but if all they detect is just a bunch of chatter and different opinions then they'll do nothing, if they detect a consensus then we've got a good chance of becoming happier campers soon.
In fact, I propose starting up a new thread dedicated to identifying as many X11 bugs and issues as we can. Often even little things get the opportunity to get addressed only because the person coding up some related fix happens to be working in the vicinity. So don't be bashful - start mentioning all those petty but annoying issues like poor mouse arrow colors, odd xterm display defaults etc.
Let's make X11 as good as it can be. Time is running out, October is fast approaching, and we have nothing to lose by asking...
Mick.
