Hi all,
As usual, the absolute *best* way to communicate your "wish list" is
to file bugs at:
https://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/
Then, feel free to share the bug number on this list to develop a
sense of community priorities. In particular, having multiple people
file the same bug (and reference the original bug number) is an
*excellent* way to increase its visibility.

X11 wish list (was Copy and paste between Aqua and X11 applications)
It's no secret that X11 is being worked on for Leopard's release. Is
there some way that after all of this prolonged discussion we can
come up with a copy/paste proposal for Apple - either a bug report or
an enhancement request? I realize that the Apple X11 team are likely
following everything on this list, but if all they detect is just a
bunch of chatter and different opinions then they'll do nothing, if
they detect a consensus then we've got a good chance of becoming
happier campers soon.
In fact, I propose starting up a new thread dedicated to identifying
as many X11 bugs and issues as we can. Often even little things get
the opportunity to get addressed only because the person coding up
some related fix happens to be working in the vicinity. So don't be
bashful - start mentioning all those petty but annoying issues like
poor mouse arrow colors, odd xterm display defaults etc.
Let's make X11 as good as it can be. Time is running out, October is
fast approaching, and we have nothing to lose by asking...
Mick.
