I have no idea what POLA is but the window with focus does not have to be in
front and often it is useful to paste into a window which is not in front.
There is no reason Apple X11 can't make this work just like everyone else's X11.
Of course auto raise on focus is normally an option so the user can configure it
to their liking. This is the biggest problem with Apple's X11. They won't let
me configure it my way. If they simply implemented standard X11 and X11
application functionality and allowed the user to configure it then all would be OK.
