That's basically my habit. I make a selection in X11, hit command-C
to 'be sure' it's in the clipboard, then paste into Aqua with command-
V. I never have any troubles. That's why I was hoping to hear
someone come up with a very specific reproducer for this so-called
bug or problem. I haven't seen one in this very lengthy thread yet.
