I have lost my X11 app icon.
If I try to reinstall I get an error message that says X11 can't be
installed on this computer because it already exist.
I have searched my utilities and various other folders.
Any suggestions?

You must install the X11 that comes on the installation disks that
came with your MacBook Pro, located on installation disc 1 at:
/System/Installation/Packages/X11User.pkg
...or by running the "Optional Installs" package on the DVD.
If, for some reason, you do have X11 installed but the installation
is corrupted, delete the following:
/etc/X11
/usr/X11R6
/Applications/Utilities/X11.app
/Library/Receipts/X11*.pkg
...and rerun the installer from your installation disc, and then
run Software Update to ensure everything is up to date.
