Hey all,
I am running the most recent Xquartz & related binaries from the very
great work discussed here. I have had a nagging problem that I'd like
to solve regarding the creation of a keybinding that would allow me to
close windows without the mouse. Here are (many) of the pertinent
details of my setup:
-OS X 10.5.2
-X11 pkg 2.2.1
-Follow System Kbd Layout ON
-Enable Key Equivalents in X11 OFF
The last is to provide compatibility with a number of applications'
keybindings.
Here's what I would like to do:
-Assign cmd+w to close a window
-Prompt me before closing a window (!)
I believe this should be possible because I'm using a way to
copy/paste from native OS X apps using cmd+c and cmd+v, very
intuitively (via .Xdefaults/.Xresources). If I can fix this last
little thing, my X11/OS X integration will be as close to complete as
I could hope. Down with the mouse!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
