Hi,
I just noticed that xterm shipped with SL don't update terminal
information correctly if launched with a non-standard geometry. This
command used to work for me (defined in the X11 application menu and
assigned a shortcut key):
xterm -r -g 120x64 -e ssh myserver -t screen -Adr
Under SL the launched screen is resized to 80x25 even though the
window is 120x64.
If I launch a xterm, resizes it and then executes 'ssh myserver -t
screen -Adr' it works as expected.
My workaround for the moment is to call a script that calls 'resize'
before doing 'ssh myserver -t screen -Adr'.
xterm -r -g 120x64 -e ~/src/myserver
--[myserver]--
#!/bin/sh
resize
ssh myserver -t screen -Adr
--[eof]--
