Hi, I am running 10.5.7 with MATLAB R 2008B.
When I start MATLAB using StartMatlab, it opens X11, tries to open for
a few seconds, then dies, leaving X11 running.
Killing X11 immediately spawns another X11, and MATLAB starts up
immediately.
Attached is my system.log; and I have marked where I kill the X11
processAttachment:
system.log
Description: Binary data
. I suspect the problem is a configuration problem. I have installed
the latest X11 from XQuartz page.
I have looked at my .bash_profile, and I don't set any DISPLAY variable.
Also, starting MATLAB from Terminal works fine.
Best regards,
Ustun
