Hi All,
A long, long time ago, before MacOSX, Windows and Linux, X11 had a
very
simple window manager, "twm" and a configuration that allowed you to
move and resize windows with a keyboard-key-mouse-click combination.
Questions:
1. Does anyone remember how to configure this?
/shrug ... I don't know much about twm, sorry...
2. Given that it can be configured, will it work with XQuartz?
Sure, you can use any WM you want. Just do this:
mkdir ~/.xinitrc.d
echo "exec twm" > ~/.xinitrc.d/99_twm.sh
chmod 755 ~/.xinitrc.d/99_twm.sh
I spend too much time finding titlebars and that single little resize
widget. I found a Mac app (Zooom) that can do this, but it doesn't
work on any X11 windows.
Can you point me to Zooom?
